When enough information about an individual can be collected, it is possible to assume that person’s identity. This identity will then be used to commit identity crimes such as taking out credit or buying products or services.
Criminals have devised a multitude of ways – both online and offline – to obtain your personal information: phishing, malware, ransomware, fraud and hacking are common online methods. However, identity theft can also happen through more traditional means such as stealing your wallet, purse or handbag. Your personal data is stored with large companies and data breaches mean your information is vulnerable.

Ransomware is a specific and sophisticated type of malware. Once executed, it encrypts the user’s personal files then demands a ransom be paid in order for the user to receive the key to decrypt the files.
Phishing involves pretending to be a trustworthy entity to fraudulently obtain information. This can be done by creating fake websites and emails that appear to be legitimate.
Scams are also known as fraud. Common ones include ‘prize money’ scams, ‘dating’ scams and extortion from seemingly valid organisations such as the ATO.
According to the Attorney-General’s Department, every 20 seconds an Australian is the victim of identity crime. The Australian Federal Police states that identity crime has become ‘one of the most common and fastest growing crimes in Australia’**. Each year it is estimated that around 5% of Australians (970,000 people) experience financial losses as a result of identity crime .
The results of identity theft can vary. At its absolute worst, identity theft can result in multiple lines of credit being secured in your name, accusation of crimes you didn’t commit and job loss.

Our advanced Watch & Alert technology scans your personal data 24/7 and detects any suspicious activity so protective measures can be taken. We scan relevant sites and data points where stolen information frequently appears. We track credit card details, banking detailsin, personally identifiable information (PII), passport details and other ID data.

Our advanced Watch & Alert technology scans the dark web for evidence of your personal data, (e.g. passport, driver’s licence details, Medicare) that has been voluntarily provided. Any suspicious activity will generate an alert.

Plans & Pricing

We offer three plans providing identity security: SINGLE, COUPLES or FAMILY.
  • SINGLE membership costs $9.95 per month ($12.95 after first year)
  • COUPLES membership costs $14.95 per month ($19.95 after first year)
  • FAMILY membership costs $19.95 per month ($29.95 after first year)
